I would like to thank you for the time and effort in sorting out a serious garden issue at Killan Road last Autumn.
In a very short space of time from marketing the above property we had found a suitable family to take occupancy within a few weeks. The property had been totally renovated and unfortunately the garden had suffered and was less than ideal for the family. It became apparent just after they moved in that there was broken glass and debris just under the initial surface from the renovation.
Although the landlord confirmed that the garden would be cleared and re-seeded (knowing that the family also fostered children and it being imperative that they had a garden,) he was not prepared to go to the extent of digging up the entire garden and re-turfing as the cost to do so he had not budgeted for and would be extremely expensive.
We turned to Neil of B&C Developments for immediate advice and a quote to have the job undertaken as the foster agency were due to inspect the property the following week. The quote was provided very promptly and negotiations began. Although the initial quote was rejected, Neil was able to provide different solutions to enable the use of the garden, such as scraping back the top layer and instead of re-turfing and to lay top soil with a grass seed mix instead.
